William E. Lane, Senior Partner
As Chief Executive Officer of BFR, Mr. Lane sets the strategic direction for the company and oversees its multi-faceted client services. His expertise includes: * Corporate Structuring * Financial Market Guidance * Financing * Mergers & Acquisitions - Planning & Negotiations Hard work, honesty and integrity are inseparable parts of Bill Lane's personality, history and management style. His twenty-five plus years of successful entrepreneurship have led him to help shepherd BFR's clients toward their financial goals. A native New Yorker, Lane joined the work force at age 14 but spent the better part of his younger years as an outstanding athlete. By age 18 he was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds Baseball organization. Rather than accepting a Minor League contract Lane decided to pursue other sports and business opportunities. While attending college he started a chain of sporting goods stores that eventually stretched throughout the New York City metropolitan area. With the track record of building performing businesses, Lane decided to shift his focus to the financial services arena, working as a stockbroker for the majority of his late twenties. His experience on Wall Street led him to pursue opportunities in capital restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions, beginning a thirst for knowledge in securities, which continues as one of his strongest passions. In the mid-1990's, Lane moved to Arizona to raise a family, where he provided investment banking counsel for a number of small to mid-size companies before settling into a full-time position as Chief Operating Officer of a high profile Internet marketing company. Lane helped guide the new venture through successful product development and eventual acquisition in 2000. After a brief hiatus to spend time with his family, Lane founded BFR Capital. Additionally, Lane has served as managing partner and principal for several multi-million dollar real estate concerns in Arizona. |
